How to Start Purchasing Online through smartbuy®
Simply by following the steps below, your organisation can access and buy online:
Step One: Register your organisation for a Search and Browse account
Step Two: Discuss with your Client Services or Client Support Officer the best smartbuy® solution for your organisation
Step Three: Come in to free training and set up your account
Step Four: Login to smartbuy® and start buying
Registering: Step One
Eligible Organisations
Buying organisations must be registered with NSW Procurement in order to purchase from SCCB contracts and obtain a smartbuy® account. To find out if your organisation is already registered with NSW Procurement contact the NSW Procurement Client Support Centre.

Registering for Search and Browse
A Search and Browse smartbuy® account will provide your organisation with access to view products and pricing on smartbuy®. The account does not provide access to buy online.

your smartbuy® solution: Step two
Buyers have a number of options for engaging in smartbuy®. The Suite of Solutions offers various options of engagement to connent to smartbuy®. Using the selected engagement program, buying organisations will be guided through the process with the assistance of a Client Services member to ensure the maximum benefit is received from the uptake of electronic procurement.
Engagement with the smartbuy® Suite of Solutions is a process that can be tailored to suit the requirements of an individual buying organisation. Strategies have been developed to meet the needs of small, medium and large buying organisations, which have different procurement requirements and processes.

Once you have chosen your online buying solution and been through the implementation process with your Client Services representative, buyers in your organisation can access training for smartbuy®.
