How do I find a current Tender?
The NSW eTendering system allows users to search all current Government Tenders advertised in the marketplace and download information on that Tender. Users can perform a simple search, if the name of type of the tender is known, or perform an advanced search to bring up all current tenders based on a certain category (e.g. Water Tenders)

How do I find who won a Tender?
NSW Government agencies must disclose all awarded contracts on the NSW eTendering system. Users can search for information on awarded Government Tenders on the NSW eTendering site. Users can perform a simple search, if the name of type of the tender is known, or perform an advanced search to bring up all awarded tenders based on a certain category (e.g. Water Tenders)

How can I ensure I get the right Tender Notices for Government opportunities?
The NSW eTendering system has the ability to provide free notification of new RFx’s to registered Industry users.
Register on the NSW eTendering system and ensure that when creating your profile you select the multiple categories you are interested in receiving notification on. For example, when registering, you can choose multiple categories that covers water, building, construction and dams. Any Tenders published which relate to these categories will generate an email to the Registered User alerting them of the new Tender.

The NSW eTendering system archives all previously published Government Tenders that have been advertised on the system. Users can perform a simple search, if the name of type of the tender is known, or perform an advanced search to bring up all current tenders based on a certain category (e.g. Water Tenders) to see if similar tenders have been published previously in the marketplace.

How do I get onto smartbuy®?
Suppliers must either be on NSW Government State Contract or must be nominated by a NSW Government Agency (or registered smartbuy® Buyer) to be eligible for a smartbuy® account.

I have a payment dispute between my construction company and another construction company, how do I access Security of Payment?
Security of Payment is provides a dispute resolution service for any two companies involved in the construction industry that have a dispute with payments. Security of Payment is not specifically limited to Government construction work and covers supplier on supplier dispute resolution, not Government on supplier dispute resolution.
Suppliers that have a payment dispute relating to construction can access the Security of Payments act for dispute resolution.

How can I find eligible customers?
A list of eligible registered buyers of State Contracts can be requested by eligible State Contract suppliers from the NSW Procurement Client Support Centre. Simply email or call the Support Centre to request the information.
